I had the opportunity to switch to an earlier flight on ANA instead of United and jumped at the chance. Last time I flew United to Hawaii they served us mac and cheese in first class so it was a no-brainer.
Overall I was really happy with the service and the attention I received, particularly when it came to boarding me and handling my wheelchair.
The flight attendants were super helpful during the flight making sure I was comfortable and they also hung around to chat while we waited for some additional assistance to arrive in Tokyo to get me off the plane.
I didn’t specify it would take more than one person to help me transfer off the plane, so one elderly gentleman showed up. If enthusiasm could lift me from my seat, he would have done it no problem. After a short wait, five more guys showed up and it was no problem!
I’d fly ANA again for sure. The food was tasty and the seats were comfortable too.
